Basic External Venetians
Basic external venetian models use ladder braid to control the slat or louvre. Ladder braid methodology has been taken directly from internal venetian blinds. The blind slat is either rested upon or placed between the ladder braid which is a woven polyester with extruded ladder strings.
The Sure Shade@ Basic 100F has a 100mm wide flat blade profile with ladder braid and offers high solar heat reduction at a cost effective price where wind loading and light blockout is not a major issue. The 100mm wide flat slat is only available with ladder braid.
The Sure Shade@ Basic 80C has an 80mm wide curved slat profile with ladder braid and offers high solar heat reduction and a more robust construction than the 100F but still a basic wind loading model due to the ladder braid operation.
Slats are available in 4 standard colours with an optional extruded aluminium pelmet in clear anodised (or custom powder coated if required), and can be manufactured with high grade stainless steel wire guides or with Zamac slat pins engaged into aluminium side guide extrusions/channels.
Motorisation by standard motor, remote controlled motor or connected to a home automation system such as CBUS.
A wind sensor can be used with the 100F and 80C.
