The Sure Shade® Ultimate 120S from Liftmaster® is a world first engineered design that carries a world tested patent and has been developed and manufactured in Australia for the Australian climatic condition of high wind loading and high solar heat.

The 120S slat stability has been enabled by a new revolutionary design that has a slat width of 120mm which allows both positive and negative air pressure to balance along the slat profile. Air pressure at two locations, front and back, provides downward pressure of the blind slat rather than upward lift as for the 100F and 80C slat profiles.
Componentry manufactured using strong and non-corrosive aluminium alloys.
The 120S uses the world renowned Hagofix® slat support system. The size, metal properties and design of the stainless steel connector has been developed by Sure Shade® to increase the wind load capacity of the system and the distance between spigots has been increased to suit rotation of the larger slat.
The 120S slat size allows large viewing areas through windows as less slats are required due to the wide profile whilst they still provide shade at various solar angles.
The 120S profile has been designed to help in the reduction of energy consumption by providing a means of reducing peak electrical load for all building cooling and heating. This is achieved by reducing or increasing of solar heat transfer into the building while still maintaining natural light transfer into the building.
The 120S can be optioned to move in an arc of 120 degrees from 56 to 176 degrees that will allow the control of solar heat and the capturing and reflecting of morning light up to 11 metres into the room while preserving a glare free work environment at the window.
The 120S slat will greatly assist in category points required in Australian Green Star rating tool calculation as glazing is the single greatest building product that captures and radiates solar heat into the building. The Green Star rating tool has nine categories and the Sure Shade® Ultimate 120S can provide or assist in gaining points in five of those categories.
The 120S is motorised with slats available in 4 standard colours with an optional extruded aluminium pelmet in clear anodised (or custom powder coated if required), and can be manufactured with high grade stainless steel wire guides or with Zamac slat pins engaged into aluminium side guide extrusions/channels.
Motorisation by standard motor, remote controlled motor or connected to a home automation system such as CBUS.
The 120S can be optioned for sun tracking. The package includes an intermediate logic interface control board manufactured by Liftmaster® that allows continuous monitoring of the angle of the individual blind slats.
